When Do You Meet?

When You Gather to LEARN | Sunday-9:30AM

Equipping Groups, “Sunday School,” are designed to equip you for life and ministry. The Bible teaches that pastors are charged to equip Christians so that they can do the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12). The Lord wants believers prepared to live in this world as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. The Christian Life is not a passive life.  Equipping groups are one thing we do to help you achieve this goal. Some groups are arranged by stage of life, but other groups will be arranged by topic. However the class is arranged, it will be centered around the Word of God and assist in teaching you how to apply it in your daily life.

When You Gather to WORSHIP | Sunday-10:30AM & 6:00PM

The Worship Gathering is where we come together as a family in Christ. The gospel of Jesus Christ is central to everything we do. So each Lord’s Day we remember and celebrate what Jesus has done for us through his life, death, and resurrection. Our corporate Worship Gatherings include singing and public prayer, as well as reading and preaching the Scriptures. Our goal is to make much of God the Father-Son-Holy Spirit and hear Him speak to us through his Word.

When You Gather To PRAY | Wednesday-6:30-7:30PM

When we pray we acknowledge our dependence on God and helps us align our will to His will. In 1 Thessalonians 5:17 the Apostle Paul encourages us to pray without ceasing; James tells us confess our sins and pray for one another, that the prayer of a righteous person has great power (James 5:16). Further, the Lord Jesus Christ tells us to pray that we not enter temptation; to pray earnestly that the Lord of the harvest will send out workers; and to pray at all times and not loose heart (Luke 22:40, 32; 18:1;10:2).

Wednesday evenings we gather to acknowledge God’s greatness and our weakness, God’s sufficiency and our lack; God’s perfection and our sin; God’s glory and our joy in Him. When we pray we recognize God’s perfect governing of the events in our life and world. Therefore, we Gather to Pray.

What Should I Expect?

You can expect our weekly worship gatherings to be simple and Christ-Centered. They include basic, historical elements such as congregational singing, corporate confessions and prayers, the reading and teaching of Scripture, and the practice of the ordinances, Baptism and The Lord’s Supper. Also, don’t expect us to put you on the spot. We promise we won’t single you out during the service. However, you should expect someone from the church to try to connect with you.  We will encourage you to fill out a Connection Card, which is just our attempt to get to know you better. But please only fill out as much information as you feel comfortable. Regardless, we promise no spam or surprise visits.

CHILDREN

From 9:30-10:20am we provide Equipping Groups for children of all ages. We would love to teach the Bible to your children during this time while you attend one yourself. To find out what class is right for you and your children, please speak with one of our greeters who will direct you to a person to assist.  Calvary Kids is also available for infants through fourth grade during the 10:30am service. The purpose of Calvary Kids is to provide a safe, engaging environment so that these little ones can learn the gospel while preparing to participate in corporate worship. For your child’s safety and your peace of mind, we conduct background checks and provide extensive training for all of our volunteers. We also require all parents (or guardians) to check in their children and will only release a child to a parent who has checked in their child. In short, whoever drops the child off, is who the child goes back to.

ATTIRE

We don’t have a dress code so you should wear whatever feels most comfortable. Most people who attend dress casually, but regardless of what you wear, you will be welcomed. God is much more concerned with the loyalties of our hearts than he is with the clothes on our backs.

PARKING

The Parking lot is situated directly in front of the building. From there it is a straight shot to the Worship Gathering. Door greeters will be there to welcome you and help you find your way.
